MADDIE TAIT-JAMIESON ART TALK WITH ART FRIENDS, 5- 22 DECEMBER, 2018
We are delighted to present this exhibition by Wellington artist Maddie Tait-Jamieson. Art Talk with Art Friends is a warm, whimsical and light-hearted examination of the anxieties confronting young artists and the language and operations of the art world.
For this exhibition, Maddie has placed her signature graphic drawings and text in a playful multi-media installation with video, sculpture and wall drawings. Two recurring characters - Wolf and Unicorn - appear across all media as anthropomorphic personas allowing us to enter their world and eavesdrop on their conversations.
Maddie, who was born and raised and currently lives in Wellington, has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Beaux Arts de Montpellier in France.
